How does BEARING work?+
Start with your occasion and design direction. Together we choose cloth and details, establish your measurements and review your specification. You approve the order and pay before your garment is made, checked and shipped.
What makes a piece my own?+
Your starting point can be a cloth, an occasion or a detail you love. Choose a garment, explore its proportions and bring your references. Together we develop a design brief around you, with cloth and construction confirmed before ordering.
What if I’ve never been measured?+
Tell us in your request. We’ll discuss the measurement pathway for your garment: guided at home, your local tailor, or remote assistance where available. Measurements are reviewed before production.
How long does production take?+
Include your target date in your request. We confirm production timing and delivery feasibility before accepting an order. A submitted target date is not a delivery commitment.
How many fabrics can I choose from?+
The cloth collection is being finalized. The color studies on this page help you share your preference; the available fabrics and their specifications are confirmed in consultation.
Can I send a picture or customize the details?+
Yes. Attach an inspiration image to your request and explore lapels, jacket style and trouser details above. We discuss the proportions and construction to create an original garment. Specific details depend on the cloth and garment.
Can I choose a blazer, suit jacket or sports coat?+
Choose a full suit, blazer, suit jacket, sports coat or dinner jacket in the design studio. Each is a starting direction for your enquiry. For shirts or other pieces, tell us what you have in mind. Availability, specification and pricing are confirmed before ordering.
What about alterations and refunds?+
The launch fit, alteration and refund terms are being finalized. We are currently accepting design inquiries. You’ll receive the applicable terms before any order or payment.
Do you ship across the US? What about duties?+
BEARING is being developed for customers in the United States. Delivery coverage, shipping charges and customs or duties will be confirmed with your quote before you place an order.
Can I reorder or update my measurements?+
Tell us if you have ordered before or your measurements have changed. Fit information must be reviewed for each order. This website saves design preferences only with your permission; it does not store body measurements.
